Traffic information from Cologne
The Zoobrücke (bridge) is blocked to heavy-load traffic as of 30 tonnes.
Please note that, since 15 October 2010, the Zoobrücke (bridge) in Cologne has been closed to heavy load traffic with a total permitted weight exceeding 30 tonnes. Heavy-load, long-distance traffic is diverted via the motorway ring. Please use the detour routes indicated by signage of the City of Cologne.
The Mülheimer Brücke (bridge) is blocked to heavy-load traffic as of 3.5 tonnes.
Please note that, since 15 April 2019, the Mülheimer Brücke (bridge) has been closed to heavy load traffic with a total weight exceeding 3.5 tonnes. Please use the detour routes indicated by signage of the City of Cologne. Further information, including the corresponding route maps, can be found at the Internet site of the City of Cologne(external website).

Most of the Cologne city area is designated as a low-emission zone. Here, only vehicles of pollutant groups 4 with a corresponding green environmental sticker may enter.
