Operational Planning, Berlin Fire Service
The engineering graduate and senior fire officer Andreas Sirtl is head of operational planning in the Berlin Fire Department. He also takes part of missions for the fire department.
In past he heads up the state office for public saftey digital radio in Berlin as deputy manager and he was project manager for the coordination and control center of Berlin police and fire service. In the specialist committee 'Technology for German Fire Departments', he represents the interests of the State of Berlin.
Until 2009 he was deputy project manager at the Bavarian State Ministry of the Interior responsible for the implementation of integrated control centers in Bavaria and as Deputy Head of Scientific Affairs for the subject area of firefighting, civil protection and ICT.
He completed his higher education in the fire service at the State Fire Service School in Regensburg. Prior to that he worked for about a year as project manager at Siemens AG in the field of energy technology.
