The Japanese Icom Inc. is a global acting company of the radio industry, that has many years of experience as a manufacturer of reliable, high quality amateur, commercial, marine and aeronautical radio products.

Icom (Europe) GmbH, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Icom Inc., manages the dealer distribution network from Bad Soden am Taunus as well as the service and spare parts warehouse for Germany, Austria, Switzerland and some Eastern European markets.

In the field of professional radio communication, we offer a wide range of products for individual communication needs.

We close the gap between analogue and digital radio with our digital PMR radio system IDAS™ (Icom Digital Advanced System), based on the NXDN ™ platform.

Another level of the IDAS ™ system is dPMR ™ (Digital Private Mobile Radio), which is an open, standardized, digital radio protocol issued by the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI).

As a special feature in our portfolio we also offer communication solutions over a Wirelesss IP Network, as well as over a LTE (4G) and 3G Network.

Our product range for the professional user is suplemented by ATEX and license free radios (PMR446, digital and analogue). Together with our partners and specialist dealers, we offer you customized system solutions for your requirements!
