SCHMIDT Funktechnik GmbH, is one of the leading specialists for personal emergency signal in combination with professional radio technology systems according to the ETSI standards TETRA, DMR and DPMR.
The company was established in 1964, initially specialising in electro installations. The PMR radio segment was added in 1967 and since then SCHMIDT Funktechnik GmbH has specialised in developing and manufacturing high quality wireless radio applications (hardware and software).
Our main applications are lone worker and guard tour systems, dispatcher systems and GPS-solutions. We build option boards for all radios manufacturers.
Target groups are industrial and energy companies, authorities and organizations with security tasks (BOS), local public transport, railway and airports, traffic routes and facilities such as prisons.
